What international readers are saying:
Two Nights in the French Riviera was written here, in Mykonos. Yes... I know, it sounds strange. The author's physical body was at that little table you can see in the photo — not the one in the foreground, but the one behind it, with the sofa against the wall.
When you write, you lose yourself in thought after thought, and that was the one spot best sheltered from the noise the few tourists made, letting him fly beyond the present moment and travel back, in his mind, to where he grew up — the French Riviera — riding on nothing but the mind and its thoughts.
It was November... Mykonos is stunning when the seagulls and those sharp blades of bronze-and-gold light accompany the world at sunset. All of it accompanied by whiskey, cigarettes, and still water outside the fridge to ease the guilt: too much whiskey and too many cigarettes really aren't good for you!
